Young co-founders of Plant Factory; Halil Beşkardeşler , Ahmet Güney , Anıl Sönmez and Emre Kaynar aim to shape the future of vertical agriculture in Turkey with their human- and nature-friendly technologies, well-equipped infrastructure and R&D studies, and to export the vertical agriculture technology they developed to the world.
Plant Factory minimizes the problems we face around the world, such as increasing population, food security and accessibility, decreasing arable land, seasonal limited production and high water consumption, with its own agricultural technology. By adopting production principles that do not harm people and nature, it provides continuous production for 365 days, regardless of the season, by protecting plants from the changing climate in a closed and controlled environment. It also keeps food safety at the highest level, which is important for all of us, with its production without using drugs in a closed area.
Plant Factory, which makes production convenient in the city, carries out vertical production independently of the horizontal area. In this way, it produces more products in a square meter unit area and increases efficiency.
Thanks to the location of its facility in Dragos, Plant Factory minimizes the carbon footprint that will occur during shipment. At the same time, it can bring fresh products to consumers and chefs on the same day with the daily harvest made in the city. Plant Factory, which has positioned its first urban farm in Dragos as PF 001, where it produces with vertical agriculture, plans to establish 12 facilities within 6 years.
Thanks to the agricultural technology it has developed, it minimizes human intervention by keeping plant quality and flavor under control with data-oriented analysis. All stages from germination to sprouting take place in the facility. Water, light, humidity, temperature and wind factors are controlled so that production is the most efficient, clean and healthy. Harvest is achieved with minimum waste in production.

Efficient use of resources is essential for sustainable food production. With the circulation systems developed at Plant Factory, it consumes 95% less water than traditional agricultural methods and prevents excessive and unconscious consumption of water resources, which is one of the most important problems of the world. It also saves energy with the energy they get from the solar panels in the facility.
Plant Factory produces the food of the future for future chef candidates with the MSA Garden system, which it has established within the Culinary Arts Academy as a smaller application of its own facility in Dragos.
Plant Factory, which started production at its PF 001 facility, is preparing to bring its green leafy plants together with the end consumer in January 2021.
