According to the data announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia; Cucumber production under cover in 2022 increased by 2.5% compared to the previous years and reached 850 thousand tons, and tomato production increased by 7% to 620 thousand tons. Among the leading regions where these productions are made are Lipetsk, Moscow, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar, Stavropol Regions, Mordovia Republics and Tatarstan.
