Uçar, who left his banking profession, where he worked for 15 years in a private bank, due to his intense work schedule, became interested in the cultivation of strawberries produced without soil in Antalya and Mersin, where he went on a tour with his family.
Uçar, with the help of his engineer friends, decided to build a soilless and multi-storey strawberry greenhouse on his land in Şerefoğlu Mahallesi.
Having planted 235,000 strawberry seedlings on an 11-decare area with the modern system, Uçar started growing strawberries with the support of his friends.
Uçar, which exports the strawberries it produces in its greenhouse to countries such as Bulgaria , Romania , Kuwait and Qatar in a short time like 5 months, enjoys being away from the stressful city life and making production.
Uçar said that the climate of Kahramanmaraş is suitable for growing strawberries and he is happy that his products are in demand.
Stating that 20 people work in the greenhouse he established, Uçar said, "We have received 30 tons of product so far. Our expectation is 150 tons by the end of the year. It can be even more. Usually, a seedling yields between half a kilogram or a kilogram. Since we have 235 thousand seedlings, Inshallah, our expectation will be 150 tons ," he said.

Explaining that he exports the strawberries produced to Bulgaria, Romania and Middle East countries through suppliers, Uçar said that the quality of his products is as good as the yield.
Stating that there is a high demand from the domestic and foreign markets, Uçar said: "Currently, all the patisseries we supply strawberries call us and ask for strawberries again. Demands are high from many cities in our region such as Ankara, Kırşehir, Kayseri, Adana and Gaziantep. We work with the largest patisseries in the region. Since we cannot keep up with the demands. "We planned to enlarge our greenhouse because of this. At the end of this year, we will increase our production network by 5 and a half acres, corresponding to 16 and a half acres. We want to exceed 200 tons in strawberry production."
