European Union More Than Turkey and Morocco; Gets Less Peppers Than Spain and the Netherlands

In the first half of the last three years, Spain's pepper sales to EU member states decreased by 34.62 million kilos (-8.77%), while sales of the Netherlands to EU member countries decreased by 27.31 million kilos (-21%, -21%). 67) showed a decrease.

In the first six months of 2019, the Dutch pepper sales to EU member states amounted to 126 million kilograms ; In the same period of 2021 , it decreased by 27.31 million kilograms to 98.69 million kilograms .

The pepper export of Morocco to the European Union countries has been increasing regularly in the last three years. In the first half of 2021, Morocco's pepper exports to EU member states increased by 12,67% compared to the last three years, approaching the sales figures of the Netherlands to the union. While Morocco sold 77.72 million kilos of pepper to EU member states in 2019, this figure reached 90.39 million kilos in 2021.

The volume of pepper sold by Turkey to EU member states in the first half of 2021 increased by 60.21% compared to the first six months of 2019. When the last three years are analyzed, Turkey's pepper sales, which were 39.31 million kilos to EU member countries in the first six months of 2019, increased by 23.67 million kilos to 62.98 million kilos in 2021.

Pepper purchases of EU member states, which were 765.99 million kilos in the first six months of 2019, decreased by -5.3 % to 40.61 million kilos in the first six months of 2021, and decreased to 725.38 million kilos .
