Quick Relief Control Valve is designed to protect the system by quickly evacuating the high pressure wave with a sudden opening movement in water systems with excessive pressure increase. The inlet pressure on the valve is adjusted to the desired pressure by means of its pilot. If, for any reason, the inlet pressure in the system rises above the set value, the valve opens quickly, evacuating the excess pressure and protecting the system. Although it opens suddenly, the closing of the valve is slow, without creating fluctuations, thanks to its hydraulic principle. It provides a completely sealed closure. It can also be used as a safety and warning valve in the outlet lines of pressure reducing control valves, on its own at critical points in water systems.
